Basically its a cooking competition where they take six ice cream makers from across the country, and put them through challenges each week. They have to make ice cream from scratch based on requests from a guest celebrity each week, then sell that ice cream to the people of Waterbury Vermont and whoever gets the most votes gets immunity for the week and whoever gets the least gets eliminated and “buried in the flavor graveyard”.

Ya..like a rapid test is more likely to give false negative, a pcr is more accurate but theres a bunch more time in between in which they could catch covid, and some doctors (okay only one of the ones i went to im just salty cause I wanted one for anxiety reasons) require a quarantine until results if you get a pcr which reply discourages getting pcrs for events.

I still find magic a lot of fun, but the hand trap concept has recently become a lot more ubiquitous in magic with the release of Modern Horizons 2 in the non-rotating formats, like it even increased the playability of the free spells from original Modern Horizions. Though, from a Yugioh outsider’s perspective, these free spells aren’t quite as convenient or ubiquitously they’ve been in Yugioh

One of the charges is still processing and AMEX says they won’t be able to resolve it until it’s processed. From what they say it’s because that it’s possible that it was just charged the full amount but when it’s actually processed it’ll be the actual amount.

Yeah I had always gotten silver because my first iPhone was white due to the black iPhone 5 having reports of its paint chipping, and then as I got newer devices I stuck with white/silver so they all matched. It wasn’t till the iPhone January 2020 that I felt like a change and “went to the dark side”. My goodness it’s gorgeous. ❤️

Long story short Qualcomm charges phone manufacturers a patent royalty to use their modems. Qualcomm decided to increase these royalties which Apple objected to. This lead to Apple and Qualcomm going to court and Apple using Intel modems on the GSM variant of the iPhone 7/7+ and iPhone 8/8+ and iPhone X, and for all of the iPhone XR, XS, 11, and 11 Pro 11 Pro+.

Then Apple bought all of Intel’s smartphone stuff, including their modem patents and intellectual property and their engineers, so Apple can start making their own modems in house like they do for their processors and other internals.

As it is currently, when Apple buys components from other suppliers certain things on those modems or chips have to be tweaked and fiddled with to work the way Apple wants it to like performance or battery life. Apple making their own will allow them to build it to their exact standards from the ground up customizing specifically for the device. Their M1 processors are a good example of this. First it was the M1 for their desktops and laptops then they moved it to their iPads.
